Here I am with my AG sized tree. I gave it to Alice for her 60th birthday which is in June but she is willing to share it with this small bear. Since it is a preserved tree, I am hoping that she will not find a way to kill it. We found it when we were in Las Vegas and could not imagine how such a fragile tree might be shipped. It turned out that the way to do it is to build a wooden crate around it and then put a piece of wood on each side of the container and bolt the wood pieces to the crate. This works well but it produces a very large, very heavy crate. In fact, if the person who delivered it had not helped open it, I suspect that the bonsai would be living in the crate. <giggling small bear> Since Alice cannot budge the crate, it seems likely that it will live in the garage as long as we live here.
