We recently visited South
Carolina and AG enjoyed sightseeing. You can see a larger, slower version of a picture by clicking on it.
The very best way to
see Charleston is by carriage and this is where you start. You never know
what you will see because the route is assigned after the trip starts.
Here is AG trying to convince Kelly, the very nice ticket person to give
him a ticket.
AG made a big hit
with our very entertaining tour guide. He found out that she is the
youngest tour guide at her company.
It turned out that
our horse, Little John, was the youngest member of his stable. He was also
very scared of moving white things. Unfortunately there are many moving
white things in Charleston. Fortunately we had someone riding with us
whose sole job was to help Little John overcome his fear!
We also went for a
tour in a bus. This wasn't nearly as fun, although we got to see more of
the city and AG did get his own seat!
Another interesting
experience was our boat trip. It turns out that AGs do not like boats,
especially boats that are encountering very rough waters and very cold
wind. Here he is trying to find land.
