Spunky was the information beanie when I entered the world and he wrote some very nice words about this beanie. Here is a quote from that day's diary.
Spunky’s Internet DiaryDID YOU SEE HER?!?!? She's so cute! We all just love Erin already! She's so friendly and smart!! She knows almost everyone's name already! When she came into the playroom we were all quiet, so we wouldn't scare her. But when she saw all of us she got so excited, she started jumping up and down and clapping! Then she started asking us questions before we could even ask her any! Boy, and I thought we had a lot of questions!! We did find out a few things about her though. First of all she's Irish! In fact, her name, Erin, means Ireland. Isn't that cool? Because she's Irish she has an accent when she talks. That means she says words a little differently then we do. Her accent is called a "brogue". It's so pretty, I could listen to her talk all day and all night! She loves to dance! There's a special dance she does called a jig". She showed it to us and it was really cool! I've never seen feet move so fast in my life!! Her favorite color is green and she loves shamrocks. We didn't know what shamrocks were, so Erin explained it to us. She said that shamrocks are a good luck charm and she never goes anywhere without hers! That's why she is so lucky! She also said that everyone should have a shamrock for luck. I asked her if she would help me find one and she said she would! I think we're all lucky to have a new friend like her! Don't you agree?? Well, I'm going to go back to the playroom for a while.
